In technology transfer, we offer our own inventions and the inventions of our research partners for industrial use through the provision of a license or by transfer of ownership of intellectual property.

CzechINVENT Technology Agency is an independent non-profit non-governmental company. Its aim is to promote technological development in the Czech Republic and for the individual legal and natural persons registered in the Czech Republic, to support applied research and development, industrial development, innovation, and innovative entrepreneurship, and to stimulate cooperation between the private sector and academic and R&D institutions. The company was founded in 2007. In addition to its headquarters in Liberec and the main office in Prague, the company also has an office in Silicon Valley in the U.S.A.
Cooperation with FNUSA-ICRC
The main goal of cooperation is to coordinate the exchange of know-how and the sales of intellectual property resulting from the research and development activities of the FNUSA-ICRC project, and to promote and expand the project as an international network for cooperation. The company will provide technical support, building a database of the intellectual property of FNUSA-ICRC. Any profit will be re-invested in the FNUSA-ICRC project to support further development and research activities, education, and the transfer of R&D results into practice. Any financial loss resulting from this provision of services will be borne by CzechINVENT.

The South-Moravian Innovation Center (SIC) helps innovative companies, students with original ideas, researchers, and inventors. SIC promotes collaboration between industry, research institutions, and public administration. The center creates an environment to facilitate innovative business in South Moravia. It aims at creating intensive links between the business, science, and research sectors in the South Moravian region. Among other things, SIC creates a platform for partnership with all major South Moravian universities, thus contributing to the enhancement of science and research at the regional and national levels. SIC was founded in 2003 as an association of legal entities. Its members are: the South-Moravian Region, the city of Brno, Masaryk University, Brno University of Technology, Mendel University in Brno, and Veterinary and Pharmaceutical University in Brno.
Cooperation with FNUSA-ICRC
Cooperation between SIC and FNUSA-ICRC will take place primarily in the area of technology transfer (backed by the FNUSA-ICRC Center for Industrial Research and Technology Transfer). SIC will provide consulting, organizational services, and implementation of individual technology transfer projects. As a part of the cooperation, FNUSA-ICRC will obtain information about the business environment in South Moravia, and have direct contact with local (potential) partners, suppliers, and investors, and other firms in the region. SIC will mediate contact with global industrial partners and provide information on business opportunities for regional companies.
