Christopher G. A. McGregor, M.D.

Dr. McGregor, Head of Cardiothoracic Surgery at University College London (United Kingdom), is a pioneer in the field of xenotransplantation. He worked as a primary transplant surgeon at Mayo Clinic and is still active there. His team has had the best international results in heart xenotransplantation experiments. He led Mayo Clinic Xenotransplantation and Gene Therapy Research Laboratory. Dr. McGregor has participated in the FNUSA-ICRC project preparation since 2006.
MUDr. Pavel Piler

Dr. Piler is a highly skilled cardiac surgeon at the Center for Cardiovascular and Transplantation Surgery in Brno. He completed several fellowships at Mayo Clinic. He has participated in the FNUSA-ICRC project preparation since 2005.
