The project pursues to improve the continuous special education of teachers at secondary nursing schools in the South Moravian region by means of support from practicing experts, who can not only share their knowledge and experience from the field, but also discuss the most frequent mistakes and shortcomings of the school-leavers entering the practice. The project will enable teachers to train specific practical skills (both common, and less common activities) under the guidance of experienced experts. The anticipated result is a higher degree of confidence and expertise of teachers during their work with students.

During the project implementation, three courses will be accredited:

  • New approaches in the field of patient care”
  • "Basic standard of nursing knowledge for teachers - Current practice in pre-hospital and hospital care of patients in acute condition”
  • “Course on effective communication in healthcare”

The project is financed from the European Social Fund and from the state budget of the Czech Republic under the Education for Competitiveness Operational Program.
