The main objective of the project is the development of scientific research workers of FNUSA-ICRC in the program of six scientific experimental platforms (AC, BME, CBCE, CMI, CPU, ICCT) engaged in molecular, cellular and biomedical engineering and imaging methods and regenerative medicine. All the mentioned fields of research can not only avert, but also prevent serious health problems and diseases.

The participants of the project include postgraduate students of Brno Universities, workers of support research teams and research workers from outside the FNUSA-ICRC. The project supports development of the mentioned target groups by means of long-term and short-term fellowships at foreign universities, by means of integration into the international research teams at foreign partner institutions, and by means of participation of the researchers at international scientific seminars and conferences. Other activities under the project include organization of conferences and workshops with the participation of foreign experts on topics related to the novelties in research and development, use of innovative technologies and so on.

These activities will help the participants of the project to familiarize themselves with the latest scientific methods and to gain experience in the work in an international team, and thus they will increase the prestige of FNUSA-ICRC both at home and abroad.

The project is financed from the European Social Fund and from the state budget of the Czech Republic under the Education for Competitiveness Operational Program.
