FNUSA-ICRC has developed its position of a globally recognized institute thanks to being very active internationally. This is reflected by the number of foreign scientists coming to see the Center, to discuss possible collaboration with our researchers and to give public lectures.
Over the recent years, we have had the opportunity to welcome many important and recognized scientists from all over the world. In 2016, 16 speakers gave their talks on various scientific issues. Among others, Italian scientists from International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology based in Italy (ICGEB), American anesthetist Brian P Head from University California San Diego (UCSD) or Des Richardson, Australian Professor of Cancer from the University of Sydney. A year later, FNUSA-ICRC attracted 23 guests from 13 countries, and in 2018 the number of our distinguished guests even doubled.
Since 2018, the Center for Translational Medicine (CTM) of FNUSA-ICRC has also been organizing a CTM Seminar Series lectures on translational medicine. During the very first year of this project, 17 guests from 9 countries accepted the invitation to hold a speech on various research topics. Among others, Iliya Lefterov and Radosveta Koldamova from the University of Pittsburgh, Marilia Zuluar Guimaraes from the Universidade Federal to Rio de Janeiro, Patrick Pirrotte of The Translation Genomics Research Institute, and Anis Larbi of the Singapore Immunology Network.
Together with Masaryk University, FNUSA-ICRC also participates in Mendel Lectures.
