The purpose of this program is to support participants reaching a healthy lifestyle that will bring them joy and suit them in the long run. The key areas are nutrition, physical activity, sleep hygiene, stress management and family support. A balanced diet combined with physical activity leads to a healthy reduction in body weight – reducing the amount of body fat, while maintaining or even increasing the amount of muscles. This will optimize the metabolic and regulatory processes in the body.
The target group of the program are people with an increased weight, at high risk for type 2 diabetes and prediabetes.
