International cooperation, sharing of experience, know-how and technologies – this is all key to success in the field of research. As a new research and development center, ICRC strives for ambitious goals – development of new preventive, diagnostic and treatment methods. Project ICRC-ERA-HumanBridge offers new possibilities in the area  of international cooperation, and opportunity to accelerate integration of the ICRC into the European research area – thus helping the ICRC to reach its goals.

Project ICRC-ERA-HumanBridge (a.k.a. “Regpot”) is the biggest project of its kind in the Czech Republic and one of the biggest within the European Union.

Main activities financed thanks to the project:

1. Expansion of cooperation with research centers and scientists in Europe

  • mutual visits, seminars and other activities related to exchange of experience and skills
  • 100 presentations of the FNUSA-ICRC research results at foreign events
  • 31 European research institutions involved in the project (Karolinska Institutet, Sweden; University College London, UK; Medical University of Gdańsk, Poland; GE Healthcare, UK)

2. Promotion of the FNUSA-ICRC activities

  • 10 expert conferences and workshops with international participation organized by the project

3. Enhancement of research capacities

  • 20 new excellent researchers from all over the world will become a part of the FNUSA-ICRC research teams
  • Procurement of new technologies and substances essential for research

4. Support of cooperation with industry

  • Development of excellence of the FNUSA-ICRC in the field of technological transfer, intellectual property protection and commercialization of research outcomes
