An article, written by members of Sleep Medicine team of FNUSA-ICRC under Assoc. Prof. Ondrej Ludka, was cited by Chinese scientists in their meta-analysis that was published by a prestigious international sleep journal Sleep and Breathing. In their study "Prevalence of sleep-disordered breathing in acute coronary syndrome: a systemic review and meta-analysis", the Chinese scientists aimed to review the literature on the prevalence of sleep-disordered breathing in patients with acute coronary syndrome.

The study of the FNUSA-ICRC researchers to which it refers works with a collection of 607 patients, the largest group on the prevalence of sleep-disordered breathing patients with acute myocardial infarction in the world. The second largest group consists of 203 patients. The prevalence of sleep-disordered breathing detected by researchers in the Sleep Medicine team corresponds to the global average.
