How we take care of you at ICRC

You can find all job offers for research positions at Vacancies – FNUSA (jobs.cz).

If you decide to apply and take part in a selection process, we will invite you to an online interview using the Zoom application.

Have you been selected as successful applicants? Congratulations!

Within a few days you will receive extensive  e-mails which will direct you to the embassy and explain exactly how to apply for a residence permit in the Czech Republic. If you are an EU national, the process is very smooth and can be initiated after your arrival. However, remember to take out travel health insurance.

If you are a third-country national, we will give you full information on how to obtain a residence permit from the country where you are residing. For research positions, we will provide you with all the documents you need to apply for long-term residence for the purpose of scientific research. For additional information on residence, please visit: Long-term residence – Ministry of the interior of the Czech Republic (mvcr.cz).

Also, we will help you remotely arrange your accommodation and health insurance.

After that, it is up to you to decide how many days before your scheduled start of work you arrive in the Czech Republic.

We will stay in touch, pick you up at your arrival in Brno and escort you to your accommodation; also, we will help you with the initial money exchange and inform you about the city’s public transport system.

ICRC employs a consultant for the care of foreign workers. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us at: hr.icrc@fnusa.cz.
