CLARA Days 2025: The Latest Trends In Brain Research With a Focus On Using Artificial Intelligence

As the CLARA Centre, of which we as the ICRC are a part, completes its first year, we are delighted to announce and warmly invite you to join CLARA Days – two days filled with lectures, discussions, and posters on the latest trends in interdisciplinary brain research and artificial intelligence. The event will take place on 11–12 November 2025 at CIIRC CTU (Jugoslávských partyzánů 1580/3, Prague 6 – Dejvice).

The symposium will bring together leading scientists, industry experts, policymakers, and students. It will present CLARA’s research strategy and long-term vision, foster international collaboration, and open new directions for joint research focused on global health challenges such as neurodegeneration.

Distinguished speakers will include, among others:

  • Prof. Michal Rosen-Zvi (IBM Research, Israel)

  • Dr. Ira Haraldsen (Oslo University Hospital, Norway)

  • Dr. Adam Schwarz (GE HealthCare, USA)

  • Dr. James Arthur Rice (University of Minnesota – School of Public Health, USA)

The symposium will culminate with the first high-level meeting in the quadruple helix roundtable format, supporting dialogue between academia, industry, public administration, and civil society on the topic of responsible AI use in healthcare.

This discussion, titled “AI & Brain Health: Building Trust Through Cross-Sector Collaboration,” will take place on Wednesday, November 12, from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM.

This event, aimed especially at young researchers and students, will feature interactive sessions, poster presentations, short pitch talks, and the launch of the first edition of the CLARA Young Innovator Award 2026 competition.

Participants will have the opportunity to present their ideas in short talks, display a poster about their project, and discuss scientific as well as career-related topics in an informal atmosphere.
