St. Anne’s University Hospital Brno is launching a special website

St. Anne’s University Hospital Brno is one of two hospitals in the Czech Republic for patients with severe COVID-19 disease. Dozens of companies, organizations and individuals have come to the hospital in the past days to offer help – with sewing masks, material or financial support.

„”It is amazing how many people and companies want to help, we are really happy for it,” said the director of the St. Anne’s University Hospital Brno Ing. Vlastimil Vajdák. “We want the public to have an overview of whom to contact, whom to call and so on. The aid should have some order and be transparent. That’s why we launched a new website where people can find all the information. ”

On the new website www.covid-fnusa.cz, public and employees will find what the hospital needs most, specific information in case of material or financial support and also news. Within a few days, the website was put together by the staff of the International Clinical Research Center of St. Anne’s University Hospital Brno (FNUSA-ICRC). They also offer their services as volunteers – as do some hospital staff working in the administration. That is why a special section “employees” was created on this website.

“The solidarity of people is amazing, they want to get involved and help. I have to admit that I did not expect some non-medical employees to start organizing volunteering, sewing masks or even creating websites that were incredibly fast. Everyone deserves a big thank you, ”added Vlastimil Vajdák.
